History

Before Cannvi Island

A Eerie Cawing followed by a tortured sounding scream. Silence, before a sudden wave of cheering and clapping hands, broke out in a large underground
Stadium hidden between many broken buildings in a rather unknown City of the Orre Region. What was celebrated here was the victory in a brutal battle,
where only one of the fighting Pokèmon leaves the Arena alive. A so called 'death battle' just had ended leaving a Honchkrow as a proud winner of the
Day. Yoshikuni trained by a rather strict young man, called Kain was well known in the shady underground of Orre. These battles were rather lucrative
with the bets going on for high amounts of money. Pushing Pokèmon over their limits making battles last longer...injecting a real thrill in battle.
This was what these battles were about. Kain left the Honchkrow to fight in these very Death Battles at least once a week, to earn money and fame to both.
Everything he did, was for his own sake using his trusty partner as a tool, turning her slowly into a murderous machine, making her kill without regret
and any second thought. On and on those fights were going, giving her no other experience beside death battles. This left the Crow in a mindset, that
fights are only existing to kill. If you can't kill you get killed.

At some point, people would wonder how this was even possible when a Pokèmon faints after being defeated. A special kind of painkiller was given those
very participants. These clouded the pain senses almost to a zero point letting them fight even if they are gravely injured and would have fainted long
ago. As soon as this drug starts to fade off, those who fight would have to deal with the wounds. In the most cases, one of the fighting Pokèmon would
take opportunity and give the final Strike and win the battle.

With the fights Yoshikuni had, she was soon aware of how the things work. Which gave her a slight advantage over newbies. But without the painkiller,
given before the battles the Honchkrow wouldn't be able to fight for a long time. Since she never been given much time to rest, only being released to
battle and perhaps to eat something. Since the Crow has been treated, to feel no pain in battle she had developed a fear of pain and heavy Injuries,
making her try to win as quick as possible and forcing her to be extremely violent with her opponents. After all it just made sense, that no one can
harm you much if you win quick enough.

Yoshikuni participated alongside her trainer for several years. Everything went smoothly and the Honchkrow usually went lucky out of her fights, with
having much more experience then most of the others. One day, this luck should ended for this very sport. It started to received more and attention
slowly getting into the focus of the police. It was of course obvious that battles like that weren't legal and nor were the bets made on those. The
Police found out, were the people had battled and rushed inside the building in order to take those people down in a raid. It luckily went successful.
This raid was just in time, since Yoshikuni was about to lose the ongoing battle against a senior fighter.This would have resulted the Crows death.
After a long Discussion with the head of the Law Enforcement Orres, participating Pokèmon eventually got taken care of by the police including the
Honchkrow. Those Pokèmon were now listed as a potential danger, in any kind of normal battle being banned of of the league for a life time. All theses
poor souls got into a special shelter, in order to help them to 'forget' this very incident. Yoshikuni didn't trusted the helpers of these project,since
she wasn't used to any other person then her trainer. The crow eventually refused to eat and drink until she was unconsciousness due to exhaustion,
which brought her soon enough to some place else.

Life on Cannvi
The awakening was rather Strange. Her Body felt heavy and it was Cold around her. Pushing herself up from the ground
Yoshikuni found herself laying in the Snow. Something felt terrible Wrong, she shivered and felt a pain in her throat. She was confused, slightly panicking.
The Honchkrow Girl got up from the Ground, dizzily walking around. Her sight was unusually bad and she couldn't see things, just up ahead. With the next
Days the Honchkrow quickly learned what was going on. Many strange People arrived that Place. They called it "Cannvi Island" no use trying to flee. All the
people who appeared out of nowhere, seemed to lost their memory just like her. Strange...that was the most fitting Word for that. She tried to interact
with the Residents...talking getting used to it. That didn't changed the fact that her short tempered attitude, made her more enemy's then friends. She also
still felt ill and didn't knew why. The Honchkrow quickly took the discussion to "vanish" from the Place, discovering what the Island was about. She wanted to
know why people lost the Memory of their past. Yoshikuni more or less started living at the Library and Toxic Waste Plant, trying to figure out everything she
could. Later she also developed a high liking to Chemistry due her sickness, caused by the Poison running trough her body with the new typing. She created lot's
of Antidote which she needs for herself to stay as healthy as possible. Once the Void Dive occurred, after the Massive attack of the Ghosts Something happened
to the Island yet again.

Tarpaulin Island
A change of Place had occurred. Yoshi regained her consciousness on Tarpaulin, however everything the Crow could see was Black. She had lost her
Eyesight completely now as for her Ice typing, which changed into a normal one. If that was enough of weirdness, it seemed that she regained her Wings
whom she had lost back on Cannvi Island in a fight against the Ghosts that appeared there. A change Yoshikuni wasn't aware of at the beginning, but noticed
that soon enough. Big Bird her Familiar, who cawed worried about the Crows state got acknowledged by her and started Guiding her through the Island as
good as it was possible to him. Now, people usually could find the Honchkrow at the Eerie Labs, which she now calls 'home'. It is rarely visited by anything
that isn't Steel or Poison typed, but still the perfect place to stay for her.

Personality
Easy to say That Yoshikuni isn't someone people could get along with well in the first place. She is usually very aggressive and extremely unfriendly.
She gets provoked by the smallest things, that might never even meant to sound the way she thinks. The Honchkrow wouldn't hesitate to fight and shows
no regret at all, to whatever she is doing. Hurting people for the fun, simply because she is able to do so. Yoshi has a hard time with trusting people
and might need a little more time to actually really get known to someone. Simply to the fact that she was never used to having much calm and peaceful
things around her. However her rather short temper and tendency to attack those she came across rarely ever leaves time to speak in a friendly manner.
That don't means that the Honchkrow is completely unable to reach an agreement with other people. On very rare cases, she also can be able to tolerate
those who are around her from the start.

Either way the usual Honchkrow behaviour will often find the way into Yoshis actions. These crows are known for being ruthless and have quit the desire
of being a leader. If someone ever comes to team up with this crow, they shouldn’t dare to make any mistakes. A Honchkrow won't forget those and will
never forgive.
