Amongst rubble, dead plants and time ridden ground lies the Somberpeak stronghold. An old but abandoned castle that once held the mountain surrounding it to great protection, turning into nothing but a stamp of time uncared for, for many years. Until the day a young man has opted to spend everything he owned to take upon this place, turning it into a shelter for pokemon abandoned, unaccepted and discarded by most. The residents are vile but the care-taker kind, Abel is doing his earnest to spend comfort to all the Pokemon living here, always keen on meeting people and trying his best to make sure the pokemon are staying in shape.

Stronghold Owner Abel Lambert
Kind and sweet yet naïve, Abel is the one to hold the large stronghold and it's surroundings. He opted to take care of Pokemon unwanted, most of which are cruel or violent for various reasons. It is his job to try and convince them of a better live, making sure they realized they are cared for and wanted. Not always it works and some turn away, living for themselves, but even then the kind hearted man always attempts his best for them.
Abels Pokemon
Pet Pokemon
Some of Abels Pokemon are just not meant to fight. Those that Abel keeps close but not in his fightig team, roam inside the castle and are usually rather docile and friendly. If asked he would refer to these as his pets and companions.
Gate Guardian
People who know Abel know he lives I danger. Be it trough the violent pokemon he trys to pacify and take care off, or trough thugs that keep trying to get into his castle to steal, assuming he would not notice as single person within the old grounds. The pokemon referred to as Gate Keeper are amongst the strongest and most loyal Abel has, protecting him and his home whenever it is needed.
The Old Chapel
One of the more well kept places of Somberpeak, an old Chapel that used to be peak of ceremony’s and gatherings. Now turned into a somber but safe place for some Pokemon. It seems though, as if the Shadow Honchkrow Kuni has claimed the area as hers, often chasing off different Pokemon that attempt to settle to close to her supposed nest. She tolerates if other are far enough away, yet it is better not to provoke her, being a generally dangerous creature to begin with.

Somberpeak Graveyard
One of the interesting seeming places is the old Grave and catacomb grounds of Somberpeak. Whilst lost in time. This is still a place with many resting spirits. Daris and Cerist are taking care of the area most of the time, making sure the graves remain undisturbed from pokemon that are a little to curious about what is buried there. It too, even seems to be a graveyard for pokemon and humans alike, making Abel tend to the graves as well if he has to use the place for deceased pokemon of his own.
Somberpeak Castle-grounds
Somberpeaks Castle grounds is the area most prone and seen to the visitors. The wall surrounded front provides a great free area to roam and have a clear sight over a majority of the place, often holding pokemon that may be a little more tolerant and social to visitors. It would be foolish to underestimate them though, some of them still are a little more dangerous then they seem, yet the open space makes I whole lot easier to avoid them very much.

Much unlike his brother, Kain is a little bit more on the rash side. Not as kind and more well thought, the man knows what he does, what he wants an how to accomplish his goals. He is a fierce fighter and brilliant strategist with a hang to shadow Pokemon. He lives his life the way he wants and no one can truly tell him otherwise.
